A Nasty Gal customer was left in hysterics after a coat she ordered online left her resembling “Ebenezer Scrooge.”
Ally Amodo was excited to try on the plaid garment when it arrived at her house but was left disappointed by the long coat, which appears to have not been cut to the correct length.
In a viral TikTok she joked: “Nastygal mama what is you DOIN.”
The description on the fashion retailer’s website says: “This jacket comes in faux wool and features an oversized silhouette, button-down closure, drop sleeves, cuffs with button closures, pointed collar, decorative flap pockets at front, and check design throughout.”
Less than impressed by the mistake, Ally uploaded a TikTok showing a picture of what it looks like on the website, and how it looked on her.
In a comment, she complained: “They want me to look like Ebineezer Scrooge.”
The video has been viewed more than 300,000 times since it was uploaded to TikTok
It racked up more than 31,000 likes and lots of viewers left hilarious comments after watching the video.
One person joked: “They said, “it’s half off, you do the work.”
Another commented: “WHAT LOL did they forget to finish their final cuts in the factory?”
A third admitted: “I didn’t expect it to look THAT BAD.”
Another joked: “Omg it’s one of those robes they put on cartoon grandpas.
“You need a matching hat that’s almost Santa style, but matching pattern, and a hunched back.”
One sympathetic shopper said: “In all seriousness, I’m sorry that happened! It sucks when you are excited for something and it turns out nothing like the advertisement!”
